From Screen to Sewing Machine: Celebrity-Inspired DIY

Anyone who truly knows me, knows halloween is by far my FAVORITE holiday. I love having the opportunity to dress the way I want, to create my own costume, and to wear it out. I aspire to have a unique costume every year to the point where I plan ahead 6 months prior to the holiday on what I want to be. I already had in mind my 2024 halloween costume by the end of 2023 halloween.. So here I wanted to share some of my previous costumes that I designed and handmade myself. I decided to be Shakira from the SheWolf music video in 2023. The previous year, 2022, I decided to be Coraline’s other parents with my SO. Even got down to making the button eyes, simply by using clay and flip up glasses. Stay tuned for halloween 2024!
